Registration Prerequisites
You will need a valid ID (passport or national ID card), a working email address and a payment method. There are no diploma or minimum level requirements to sit for the TEF.
Registration Steps
Register through an accredited center via the official TEF website. Create your account, choose the TEF version suited to your project, select a date and location, then pay online.
Fees and Timelines
The TEF costs between 150 and 300 euros depending on the center and version. Register at least 3 to 4 weeks before the exam date. Results are available within 4 to 6 weeks and remain valid for 2 years.
On Exam Day
Arrive 30 minutes early with your ID and admission notice. No electronic devices are allowed in the exam room.
